Dreamcatcher Mixed Media Canvas

Hi Everyone its Keren here with a brand new protect.
I created a mixed media dreamcatcher canvas to display in the Prima Marketing Booth at Creativation (formally CHA mega show)

I used lots of materials and embellishments to create the texture and then applied different Finnabair Mixed Media products to create colour, texture and design.

I will be teaching this technique in the upcoming months so I am just giving a general description of the project as I can't share the process yet.

Shabby Chic Journal Cover for Maja Design

Hi everyone,
I'm super excited to be joining the Maja Design DT and today I'm showcasing my first project.

I'm up on the Maja Design Blog today and I created a Shabby Chic Journal Cover to give as a gift to someone and I knew the Vintage Spring Basics collection were perfect for covering the journal.

Below, is a short step by step video tutorial on how I created it.

To create texture in the background I used a script The Crafters Workshop stencil with some modelling paste. I wanted to keep it very clean and shabby.
I used some matching Prima Marketing flowers, leaves and vines to embellish the book.
The doily under the flowers was cut out of the 7th of May Vintage Spring Basics paper using Prima's die-cut metal doily.

To cover the book I used the April 3rd paper and the doily from the May 7th paper from the Vintage Spring Basics collection

Find Beauty in Chaos--- Art Journal for 7 Dots Studio

Hi Everyone,
I created an art journaling page using my favourite paper from the Cotton Candy Dreams Collection: Strawberry Fields. I love those bubble trees and I really wanted to incorporated them in my project.
I also used a few more matching products from the same collection.

I have a step by step video tutorial below to show how I created this layout.

I especially love the title and message that I chose for this art journal page. "Find beauty in chaos" is something that our world really needs nowadays. I feel that even if in life everything is as chaotic as it matt seem, it still does have beauty just like a wild garden. I love how wild gardens grow, and this is exactly what I wanted to show thru this art journal page.
Everything has beauty we just need to open our eyes and see it.

At times, as I was creating this page, it felt it was messy and chaotic but as I kept on adding different mediums, it took on its own beauty and so I knew I had to choose this specify title for this page.

Inspired by Iceland's Aurora Borealis Art Challenge

I've joined an artists collaboration art challenge inspired by Iceland and the Aurora Borealis.

At the time that I created this project I was in a warm colour zone. Everything I was creating had the warm red, orange and yellow hues.

For this Art Challenge I created a 12"x36" abstract canvas

Here it is and below are some photos from where I drew inspiration

The Aurora Borealis can be seen in many colours. I drew inspiration from a red toned skyline for my canvas.
Here are a couple of the pictures below
