Wonder- Blue Fern Studios sketch challenge

Another month is upon us and I can't believe its already June. Where has the time gone? we are half way between now and another year.

Here is my layout for this month's Blue Fern Studios sketch challenge using the new paper collection Ombre Dreams:

I rotated the sketch 90 degrees clockwise as I really like the way it looked downwards on the page.

I created a textured background behind the photo by masking a large punchinella circled stencil in a downwards motion on the page. I then painted it in two Shimmerz paint colours: Sunny side up and marigold. I also sprayed some terracotta Shimmerz on the background. Finally I dabbed with some ranger acrylic paint to enhance the colour in certain areas.

if you want to try any of these amazing Shimmerz colours, just go to the Shimmerz store and place your order and if you mention my name during checkout, you will receive a free sample product. Isn't  this a sweet deal?

I used the following Blue Fern Studio chipboard on this layout:
One of the Circle links to frame the photo. It was inked in black and then dabbed with yellow acrylic paint.
I also used a few of the Mini Ring Things which I primed with gesso and dabbed with different coloured acrylic paint.

Lastly I used one of the Little Birds from the set, a small veranda cage and the Winter title: Wonder.

Products:
Papers: Blue Fern Studios-Ombre Dreams
Chipboard: Blue Fern Studios
Shimmerz: marigold, sunny side up, terracotta
Ranger Acrylic paint dabber: Orange, Yellow, Copper
Ranger Black Archival ink
Stamp: Glitz Design
Flowers: Prima
Stencil: The Crafters Workshop
Golden Light moulding paste
Golden Gesso
Prima fluid chalk ink: black coal

Hope you get a chance to play along with us at Blue Fern Studios

Have a wonderful day!!
